Crock Pot Pumpkin Cinnamon Applesauce

Traditional applesauce with a pumpkin & cinnamon twist...all made in the ever-loved crock pot. This couldn't be any easier to make.
Ingredients
  • 4 lbs apples (9-10 medium), peeled, cored, and quartered
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup water
  • 15 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
Instructions
  1. Add the sliced apples to the crock pot. Add the remaining ingredients, cover, and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
  2. With a potato masher, mash the soft apples to desired consistency. Allow applesauce to cool to room temperature and store in the refrigerator. Serve chilled.
